This is album is emotionally devastating. Initially I read these as love songs, but now I hear a story of orange, someone matured and totally jaded to the point of actively grieving pink, who represents every shred of naivete, ignorance and safety stolen away by the cruelty of life. People talk about how this album is like howling into the abyss but for me it's screaming at the gaping holes that I'll never get back. A painful experience, but definitely one worth having. Cnámha

I've listened to this EP a couple dozen times over the last year. as my life progresses and my experiences grow, I find myself transitioning to a connect of how bright you shine to hope you never forget.
that's not to say this whole EP isn't beautiful, I always viewed it as a transitional release for sadness and Damian's change in style. and I completely understand it. Josh Martineau

Each song is drenched in a thick, blazingly dreary but stunningly beautiful atmosphere. There are pure depressive moments, but also moments that uplift your soul. Regardless, each moment pulls on your heart in one way or the other. Kreeko
